Humble beginnings (part 3)

Sydney,NSW -Melbourne Vic 4/4/2010 - 8/4/2010

The story continues as we arrive in sydney and feasted at the white cockatoo for some schnitzels that rivaled (even beat!) the tuckerbox for size and value. This was washed down with some beers and gave us the sustenance we needed for the long road ahead. Along the coast road was littered with capes bluffs and blowholes (water blown out of the rock like a gisier for those who have spent too much time on a mine site :). Miles and miles of dramatic ocean pounding against granitic rock cliffs rolled past, after dinner we simply could not drive past mini-golf (where i scored the highest). Staying in the luxurious comfort of the YHA Mirrimburra we enjoyed beaches as well as rainforest's down to lakes entrance.

Melbourne too was not without it's charms and fitzroy held up with beer classy sleezyness and general good times. Then Tasmania via the the Spirit of Tasmania, to Hobart. 3,700km across 5 capitals of 4 states and a territory in this great big land of ours.
